How To Restore CNC Professional Configuration Settings With The CNCSETUP Application

What Is CNC Setup

CNC Setup is Windows Application and is part of Camsoft’s CNC Professional Controller system. CNC Setup is installed on the PC as part of the normal CNC Professional software installation process. CNC Setup is used to set default settings for the machine operator interface or HMI and for machine operation.

What Is A CBK File

A cbk file is a backup of all the settings in the CNC SETUP program which are copied to a new file for safe keeping. The cbk files can also be used to save different machine configurations.

How To Restore Settings From A Backup File

Double click on “CncSetUp”

Left click on “Restore (button)” in “CNCSETUP

Left click on the file name of the cbk file to restore in “Restore Backup”

User left click on “Open (button)”

Left click on “Yes (button)” in “Overwrite Existing Files”

Left click on “OK (button)” in “Restore Completed”

Left click on “OK (button)” in “Restore”

Conclusion

The restore operation copies all the settings in the cbk file to CNC Professional. The CNC Professional software will use these settings when it is launched.
