The Camsoft Logic command ANALOG can be used to command a voltage signal at the controller analog outputs which are normally used for motor command. The ANALOG command provides a way to control analog output and read an analog input, but for this article, control as an output will be the focus. Each analog output on the control is designated by number. Beginning with the first MOCMD for the first axis the command would be ANALGO1 continuing with ANALOG2, ANALOG3, ANALOG4, ANALOG5, ANALOG6, ANALOG7, ANALOG8, for a max of 8 axes. The first parameter is the voltage value. The value can be defined literally or with a variable. This is followed by a semi-colon. The semicolon is used as a separator. The last parameter is the word OUT to designate that you want to send out voltage.
The following procedure can be used with the ANALOG command to test for motor command signal.
